My SHS fosters (part 2) ~ Along came Milo

The foster kitties had been living with me for about a week when one of the employees at work came to me with a question. Her friend had found a 2 week old kitten abandoned in her back yard and needed advice on caring for it. The kitten was very small and would need round the clock feedings to help it thrive. The girl was very concerned that she would not be able to do this properly and that the kitten would die. I suggested that she bring the kitten to Saphira and see if she would accept it. If she did the kitten would have a good chance.
Saphira takes in a foster baby
I brought Saphira and the kittens to work with me that day. The girl with the abandoned kitten met me there and we offered the kitten to Saphira for inspection. She lifted her head and sniffed it's tiny face. Then she readjusted her body to make more room among all the nursing kittens as if she was saying "pull up a seat kid". From that day on she treated the kitten like it had always been one of hers. The girl had named the kitten Milo to go along with her other pet named Otis. Saphira had agreed to take care of Milo until she was old enough to go back home.
Milo fits right in with her adoptive family
Milo was cute and spunky. She was the loudest little thing I ever heard! She was always "yelling" about something or other and would follow you around and make sure that you were hearing her.
As you can hear, she was pretty demanding! But so cute. She stayed with the other kittens until she was old enough to return to the girl that found her. Once she was eating solid food and no longer required Saphira to nurse her she returned home. This video was taken a week or two before that time.
